Spinal decompression involves stretching the spine while using a traction table. The goal is to relieve back pain and/or leg pain. Our chiropractor also works to promote an optimal healing environment for bulging, degenerated, or herniated discs.
Spinal decompression is a type of therapy applied to the spine that brings patients many benefits. First, we attempt to create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or re-positioning of the herniated or bulging disc material. Secondly, we create a lower pressure in the disc that will cause an influx of healing nutrients as well as other substances into the disc.
Our entire staff is dedicated to our patients. We want to get to the bottom of your spinal issues and reduce the likelihood of your pain resurfacing. Our office provides a calming atmosphere, so you are sure to feel comfortable while your body is trying to heal.
If you have any questions about spinal decompression or back pain treatment or would like to schedule an appointment, please contact us today at (510) 243-2425.
Schedule an AppointmentI am fortunate I found Dr Knapp and amazed how after only a month I was starting to feel relief from the pain and was sleeping better. Amazing not even and prescriptions to take. I can't believe almost two years after my accident I am at last feeling fabulous. I only wish I had found Dr Knapp right after my accident.

If you need a little more than basic chiropractic work, then this would be a great place for you! It was too expensive for me too & i really didn't need the entire program they're revolving around at this practice. nice place tho & 5 stars!!

East Bay Chiropractic former Dr Raymond Knapp helped my son with his back pain; I never knew children also need Chiropractic Services ever since then, I'm ever so grateful

It had been a few years sine I'd been to a chiropractor, and my back and neck were really in need of attention. . I was fortunate to find East Bay Chiropractic and was put on a plan to regain some mobility and reduce the pain. I appreciated the support from both the doctor and his staff, and am doing much better now with just "maintenance" visits. I would and do recommended them to everyone!
